Music and Dance for Festivals and other Public Events/Venues

Click on the buttons below to get full infomation about each band...
Visit the MoonDance website
  • MoonDance regularly performs all over the country at Festivals and Public Dances. Imagine the accessibility of traditional dance music combined with power of rock and funk music. Unlike many ‘electric’ barn dance bands, the MoonDance sound is more than just an acoustic folk band grafted onto a pub-rock rhythm section. The music has been developed as true fusion of the best of traditional and modern dance rhythms.
We can supply up to a ten piece ensemble with a horn section and our links with the professional festival support industry mean that we can provide the full infrastructure for large events including staging, lights, security, management and suitable power arrangements. As seen at festivals around the UK such as the incredibly popular Farmer Giles' Barn Dance at Guilfest.
Visit the Kickin Ceilidh Band website
  • If you are after a more traditional ceilidh or barn dance (or if you have a limited budget) then the Kickin' Ceilidh band is a good option. The band's melody section is led by one of the UK's best fiddle players and the celtic influenced folk/rock sound is ideal for dancing.
Visit the enQ website
  • enQ (pronounced 'eee-en-cue') has performed at festivals in the UK and Australia with their mix of high energy celtic instrumentals, original songs and rock settings of traditional songs.
Visit the WoodworX website
  • Want to tap in to the good time Aussie party, the take a look at WoodworX. They can provide either a straight concert set or add word to produce a dramatic presentaion of words and music. This is no dull history lesson but a show to shed light on a bygone age with wit, humour and a bunch of great songs performed by the band.
