Selecting Music for your Fundraising Event

Getting good entertainment for a charity or other fundraising event can be something of a lottery. You have to balance the budget against being able to provide a really attractive form of enterainment to help you convince particpants to contribute to your good cause.

You also want to have an event that encorages people to get involved and pretty much runs itself to allow you to do your job; talking to people, getting your message across.

A ceilidh, barn dance or hoedown is ideal for this kind of event as the caller gets everyone involved as well as controlling the pace and format of the evening (to your specification of course!). The structure of the evening also allows ample opportunity for other fundraising activies such as a raffle, door prizes, displays and presentaions.
